Who we are

Albuservice, Lda, based at Rua Bartolomeu Dias, Lote 19, subcave B, 8200-096 Albufeira, Portugal, is responsible for processing the personal data collected through this website.

What data we collect

We collect the data you voluntarily provide through the site's forms: name, phone number, email, address and information about the equipment or request in question.

What we use your data for (handling your request)

We use your data to respond to your request for technical support, parts, rental, a quote or general contact, and to keep the service history associated with the warranty on the work carried out. This purpose does not depend on, and is never conditional on, any marketing consent.

The legal basis for this processing is the performance of pre-contractual steps taken at the data subject's request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Direct marketing (separate, optional purpose)

Only if you tick the separate, dedicated option on the form to receive marketing communications will we also use your email to send you Albuservice news, promotions and maintenance tips. This consent is independent from the consent given for handling your request: we never make submitting a request conditional on accepting marketing communications. You may withdraw this consent at any time, with no effect on requests already submitted, by emailing pedidos@albuservice.com to request removal.

The legal basis for this processing is the data subject's consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given through the separate, optional checkbox on the form.

Who we share your data with

Your data is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. It may be shared with the representative of a brand we do not work with directly, only when the request requires it, and with technical service providers that support the running of the site (for example, email delivery).

To run the site, we rely on two subprocessors that handle data on our behalf, under our instructions and a Data Processing Agreement (DPA): Supabase, for database storage, with data hosted in the European Union (Ireland); and Resend, for automatically sending the emails generated by the site's forms, with data processed in the United States. This transfer is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, incorporated into our agreement with this provider.

This site embeds Google Maps, which may access data from your device, including your IP address. This content is only loaded after you consent, via the site's cookie preferences panel. See our Cookie Policy for more information.

How long we keep your data

We keep your data for as long as necessary to handle your request and comply with legal and warranty obligations.

Your rights

You may at any time request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting us at geral@albuservice.com.

Right to lodge a complaint

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNPD (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados), Portugal's data protection supervisory authority, if you consider that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR.
